A dense, lustrous cluster of tourmaline needles (almost a single crystal) sitting on a bed of gemmy, golden, smoky quartz crystals...many of which are double-terminated.  Also, there is a small tuft of fluorescent hyalite opal at the base of the schorl.  A very handsome piece indeed!
